Most people are creative. Especially my friends,
and in everything you create here is something thats uniquely “you”. I thin everybody should have the chance too show their creative side without it having to be perfect.
With that said, I’ve used my friends to make a poetry collection in the form of small books. My friends got to express themselves however they wanted but under one condition, it had to be very “You”. This resulted in poems that reflect life, thoughts and moments. Through form, colour and illustration has the poems, but also the character of the writer, been presented and enhanced.

"Skogskonan"
This poem is written in old Swedish. I interpret it as an angry or disappointed poem. The story I drew is about a person who came in contact with the Nixie (näcken), fell in love but when they were about to get killed they got away. Now they’re lost in their feelings for the magical creature.
The illustration is magical yet ominous and when folding out the paper you follow the fireflies through the forest to where the story begins.
"Stand tall"
I interpret this poem as getting over something and changing in the process. Finding a kind of calm that you didn’t have before.
You go through the growth with the writer while unfolding the paper. The colours start off strong but turn calm as you figure yourself out. Your feelings of worry turns to clouds drifting away, never to return the same as before.
"Jag"
To be someone and to not be something. This poem is about not belonging in the categories of gender.
This poems form is made with the idea that you fold out the paper from the middle row which is constant (the binary) to see that the writer is something/someone else.
